Serving as the Special Projects Officer assisting the Executive Officer with the planning, resourcing and management of day to day operations to prepare the Brigade for an ARMS inspection and unit deployments. Developing the new Soldier welcome packet and recruiting materials and web site.

Marketing Lead – Data Systems Analyst, Inc.
Developed a marketing campaign and supporting marketing materials for web 2.0 technologies. Tasks included writing a detailed marketing campaign plan, developing a marketing campaign briefing, and designing and developing marketing materials to support campaign efforts. The marketing campaign centered on a single, core strategy which became a hub around which all the marketing activities rotated. These activities included creating a press kit, trade show schedule and display plan, articles and advertisements, and a web site.

Command Marketing Manager - Maryland Army National Guard 29th Combat Aviation Brigade
Developed marketing/recruiting initiatives for the 29th Combat Aviation Brigade. Duties included serving on recruiting and retention board, designing and developing online presence for the Brigade, and developing supporting marketing materials. Most notably I worked with the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) to design a cover for their 2009/2010 Maryland Airport Directory. A total of 13,000 directories were printed with distribution to 36 public use airports and 31 other general aviation airports. Additionally, directories were handed out at several fly-ins across the state of Maryland and shipped to the EAA Fly-In at Oshkosh Wisconsin, one of the largest air shows in the world. I also graduated from the Army Aviation Captains Career Course at Ft Rucker, AL.

Manager, Web Designs and Marketing Programs - Perpetual Enterprise Partners, LLC, Bowie, MD
Manager of the 'HR Marketing Services' division of the company and responsible for all web design and marketing programs conducted. Tasks included designing and producing collateral materials including logos, brochures, fliers, annual report, invitations, newsletters, and other print and web-based communications. Re-designed the corporate brand for PEP to include their business cards, brochures, marketing materials and web sites. Worked as part of the business development team and researched perspective RFQ's, wrote supporting sections of proposals related to web design and marketing, and created graphics for proposals.

Multimedia Branch Chief and Army Aviation Logistics Officer - National Guard Bureau J3 Counterdrug Division, Arlington, VA
Served as the Multimedia Branch Chief in charge of the national image of the Division. Lead a team of 5 soldiers to execute an $800,000 yearly budget and was responsible for the design and development of the Division brand that included producing videos, designing web sites, layouts for brochures, posters, briefings, designing and staffing a traveling display for 20+ events per year, and editing and distributing a quarterly magazine. Trained as a Contract Officer Representative (COR) to manage contracts worth over $200k. Also served as the Army Aviation Logistics Officer and was responsible for managing Aviation operations and planning for the Reconnaissance Aerial Interdiction Detachments. Coordinated logistical support for mission equipment installed on 125 aircraft in 37 states.

Senior Web designer/developer - American Institutes for Research
Worked with clients to establish requirements for web site Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) and then designed several prototypes and wireframes for client approval. Created project plans for approved designs then developed graphics and coding. Gained client approval through periodic development review meetings and then launched the finished product after thorough testing. Documented design and development process and maintained web site and graphics throughout the lifecycle of the project. Ensured web sites were Section 508 compliant and met client and usability guidelines.

Work with several clients as an independent consultant; write proposals, develop marketing campaigns, design and develop web site graphical user interfaces (GUI), create corporate logos, and instruct computer software courses.
